Ultherapy uses safe, time-tested ultrasound energy to lift and tighten the skin naturally without surgery or downtime.
The Ultherapy Procedure
No preparation is required before Ultherapy. However, once you arrive at the office the skin will be cleansed and the specific areas for treatment will be defined. An ultrasound gel will be placed on the appropriate regions and a smooth hand-piece will be placed on your skin, passing ultrasound energy beneath the skin. You will feel a slight sensation as the treatment is being applied.
Since the procedure is non-invasive, the recovery time is almost instantaneous. After a 60-90 minute session, you can go about the rest of your day. Most patients only need one treatment, however some benefit from additional applications.
Minimal Side Effects
As a non-invasive procedure, Ultherapy has minimal side effects. The most common side effect is a flushed appearance, with temporary redness. Sunscreen usage is recommended after the procedure, but otherwise, patients can return to their normal daily routines.

Before and After Results
The photos below are provided to show results, however they do not depict patients of the Gulf Coast Institute of Rejuvenation.
How Does Ultherapy Work?
Ultherapy uses focused ultrasound to stimulate collagen deep within the skin without downtime. The result? Tighter, better-fitting skin…even on the neck!
During, ultrasound is used to stimulate the structural support layers under the skin. Typically, these deep layers of skin are reached through a surgical facelift, but this can target them without breaking the skin’s surface.
When ultrasound reaches the deep layers of skin, your body responds with the creation of fresh collagen. The new collagen will gradually firm and lift your skin, slowly rebuilding over time. Noticeable results are achieved in 2 to 3 months. The results will look natural and improve the appearance of your skin for up to 6 months after the procedure.
This is the ONLY technology with an FDA indication for non-invasive tissue lift. It uses micro-focused ultrasound to precisely heat tissue at multiple depths without affecting the surface of the skin. The result is a multi-dimensional lift that begins at the skin’s foundation.
What is the PRO-NOX Nitrous Oxide Delivery System?
PRO-NOX is a patient-controlled pneumatically driven gas system designed to deliver a 50% oxygen and 50% nitrous oxide mixture to patients for the relief of pain in a medical setting. It is ideally suited to Ultherapy Treatments.
This system delivers patient analgesic during what for some had previously been a painful aesthetic procedure.
The Gulf Coast Institute of Rejuvenation is now utilizing the PRO-NOX Nitrous Oxide Delivery System in conjunction with its treatments.
